All our pricing includes (excluding mini-sessions) travel to locations within 45 minutes from Ormeau. All locations outside of this radius will incur a small additional travel fee.

What time do you hold your sessions?
For outdoor sessions, I love capturing moments in golden hour at dawn when the sun is rising or one hour before dusk.
For indoor sessions, these can be captured during the day. Perfect for newborn sessions, or at home motherhood shoots with your little one(s).
What happens if it's raining on the session date?
I don't shoot in the rain. If the weather has set in and is forecast to rain all day, I will make contact on the session day to reschedule the session.
what happens if we get sick?
If you or your little ones are sick on the day of the session, please make contact as soon as possible to reschedule for another day. If I am unwell, I will let you know and we can find another date. There is no fee to reschedule your session. This will allow time for everyone to rest and to show up as their best self on the next suitable session date.
How do we book you?
Please send me an email at duskandrare@gmail.com or fill out the contact form. I will get back to you soon and answer any questions you may have BIG or small. I will send through a quote once all details have been confirmed. Once you have paid your non-refundable booking fee of $99 we can secure your date and lock in a session time.
What's your turn-around time?
The turn-around time is 3 - 5 weeks from your session. You will receive images via an online gallery. Please reach out if you're on a timeline and require your images sooner.
Do You Provide RAW Images?
I don't offer RAW or unedited images, as they don't reflect the finished quality and style I aim to deliver. Every photo you receive is carefully edited to ensure it's the best representation of my work and your session.
Will My Images Be Shared?
Dusk and Rare reserves the right to use your images for promotional purposes, including social media and the website.
Dusk and Rare may share images on social media and the website to showcase recent work. I always do so with care and appreciation for the beautiful moments we've capture together.
Booking Fee & Rescheduling Policy?
A non-refundable booking fee of $99 is required to secure your preferred date and time. This deposit can be transferred to a new date within two months of your original booking. Proof of deposit transfer must be provided prior to confirming your booking. Full payment is required two days prior to your session, along with proof of transfer. Failure to provide payment or proof of transfer may result in cancellation of your session.
Why is the booking fee non-refundable?
A non- refundable booking fee of $99 is required to secure your preferred date and time. This fee covers the time spent on planning, admin, and communication leading up to your session. It also ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for you, meaning I turn away other potential bookings for that time. The booking fee reflects the commitment on both sides and helps protect time and resources dedicated to each client.
